The cream-colored stucco and half-timbering complement the warm, split-faced Halquist lannon stone. The joints are raked flush, and the mortar matches the stone to create a historic English Country appearance. The window heads are made of wood, with a hand-hewn finish. Areas of the second floor have rough stucco spandrel panels and wood trim to mimic wattle and daub construction. The dormers are composed of wood trim, rough stucco, cedar siding and copper.

A stone and wood deck ravine bridge sweeps from the street and gently curves towards the porte cochere. The bridge abutments are organic in form, and made of the same random coursed stone as the house. The wall caps are hand chiseled striated limestone with curved edges which blend gently with the environment.
