Chicago - Ukrainian Village

Ukrainian Village is a unique neighborhood located along Chicago Avenue that has retained much of the character of a European community. The community is home to many ornate orthodox cathedrals, such as St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, and Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cathedral with gorgeous domes. Located south of Wicker Park, the area has historically been a safe, middle-class neighborhood.

The two villages are known for their lovely, tree-lined streets, old-world shops and affordable restaurants, as well as trendy bars and attractions, including the popular Empty Bottle music club and Redmoon Theater."
