After working on Capitol Hill as the legislative director and speech writer for the North Shore's Congressman, John Edward Porter, Suzanne returned to her native Lake Forest to raise her own family. As an alumnae of both public and private Lake Forest schools, and as a mother of school-aged children, Suzanne has personal experience with community schools which enhances the perspective she gained working with the local superintendents at the national level. Suzanne has been very involved with the City government and community organizations and can provide a fun and fact-filled tour of the area. CNS - Certified Negotiation Specialist
A Coldwell Banker Certified Negotiation Specialist (CNS) has the ability to negotiate to help clients achieve their goals and create the win/win. Designees learn 1) When negotiating actually begins and how to position oneself beforehand; 2) The "Four Principles" used by every great negotiator and how they relate to MUCH more than just an inspection issue; 3) How to create and/or gain power in a negotiation and what to do when faced with someone in a more powerful position; 4) A dozen effective strategies and how to counter them.

Cartus Relocation Specialist
This two-year certificate is part of the Certified Agent Advantage program, a professional standard available exclusively to members of the Cartus Principal Broker Network. Cartus requires qualified Network agents to become certified as relocation experts by participating in one or more Certified Agent Advantage courses, passing a written exam upon completion, and undergoing a comprehensive background check. The course covers issues surrounding the purchase of a destination house, as well as the most effective techniques for helping clients research communities, locate their new home, and settle into their new area anywhere in the United States.
