Brentwood
Brentwood is a district in western Los Angeles, California. Located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, Brentwood is bounded by the San Diego Freeway on the east, Wilshire Boulevard on the south, the Santa Monica city limits on the southwest, the border of Topanga State Park on the west and Mulholland Drive along the ridgeline of the mountains on the north. Nearby neighborhoods and cities include Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, Sawtelle, Westwood, Bel-Air and Encino.
One of the movie entertainment towns, Brentwood is dominated by gracious mansions and homes set amidst the hills that offer spectacular views. Most three and four-bedroom homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s, with lush trees and shrubs shading the meandering roads. Brentwood is also the home to the Getty Museum and Mount Saint Mary's College. Several parks are located nearby, as well as two golf courses.

A must-read for aspiring, new and seasoned agents who need a career boost. This book is a guide for would-be and newly licensed REALTORS, as well as those already in the business who may need a boost toward a successful career. Too often, new agents enter the real estate profession with high hopes but little understanding of the daily challenges and realities that come with it. Beyond passing the licensing exam, true success requires persistence, preparation and a clear-eyed view of what it really takes to thrive in this industry. My goal is to provide practical insights, encouragement and tools that will help readers navigate the obstacles, build confidence and create a rewarding and sustainable career in real estate. Eventually, you will develop your own business model.
Whether you’re new to real estate or simply ready to do it differently—know that success is within your control. If this book teaches you anything, let it be this: You don’t need to follow anyone else’s script. Your practice, your pace and your process—they’re yours to own. That is the real power.
