Pacific Palisades
Also known as "Where the Mountains Meet the Sea", Pacific Palisades is a district within the City of Los Angeles located between Brentwood to the east, Malibu to the west, Santa Monica to the southwest and the Santa Monica Mountains to the north. With a mixture of large private homes, small houses, condominiums, and apartments, it is a very affluent and predominantly residential area.
Many of Southern California's rich and famous have built their palatial estates and mansions against the backdrop of the natural beauty of the Pacific Palisades area. Local attractions include the Paul Getty Museum, Will Rogers Park, Temescal Canyon Park, and the Riviera Country Club.
